November 1! Circle Meeting at Loco Lu’s
Flute Folks! Hope you are all enjoying the fall. Let’s get together again! Loco Lu has asked us back to Loco Lu’s Coffeehouse. http://www.locolu.com/ We have the place scheduled for November 1, from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 or so.
For a focus this time, how about if we tell some stories about our favorite flutes. Bring a flute to the meeting and share with the group why it is special to you. It may be because of the way it sounds, or because of how you came to get it (or how it came to own you!). Maybe it’s the way it looks, or how it was made. Just bring a good flute along to the next meeting and tell us about it. Those will be some good stories and flutes to hear.
We’ll also have plenty of time to play songs and talk about flute problems. All the usual stuff. And we can check out Lu’s coffeepot. Anybody making some new flutes? C’mon flute makers – let’s see some of your new stuff!
With this early November meeting, we can dodge the Thanksgiving holiday and still squeeze in an early December meeting before the later holidays are upon us.
