June Circle Meeting — 6/13/09 at 10:30 a.m.!
The Neuse River Flute Circle will meet at Kelly McCauley’s house in June. (Yay, Kelly!) This should be a fun way to start the summer. Bring your flutes and bring a song or two. Let’s make some music! Anybody picked up some new flutes? I know Eddie got a new one from Jack Thomas. (Wonder how that happened!) I’m sure we have a lot of flute stories to share. Anybody having performance problems? Any great breakthroughs?
Kelly says: “If anyone would like to bring something, that would be great! I will provide some munchies, too, and juice and cofee. Don’t have a coffee maker, but Starbucks has containers of their hot coffee and I’ll pick up one of those. “
What: The Neuse River Flute Circle June gathering
When: Saturday, June 13 starting at 10:30 a.m.
Where: Kelly McCauley’s house, 8425 Morgan’s Way, Raleigh 27613
Directions: From Crabtree Valley Mall - Go north on Creedmoor Rd about 5 miles, pass Stonehenge shopping center on the right and go through the intersection of Bridgeport / Howard Rds, the next street is Morgan’s Way - turn left (you’ll see a fire station on the right) Go 1/2 mile and turn left on Abbey Ln. My house is the first driveway on the left (gravel driveway, white mailbox).
From 540 - Take the Creedmoor Rd exit and go south. Pass Strickland Rd intersection and McDonalds, the next street down is Morgan’s Way - turn right. Go 1/2 mile and turn left on Abbey Ln…..same as above.
Making the music makes a difference. So keep making that music, Everybody!
