Neuse River Flute Circle

The Neuse River Flute Circle will meet on Saturday, December 5 from 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. at Quail Ridge Books and Music in Raleigh. This will be a great opportunity to play our music for ourselves and for the community!  Quail Ridge Books has a nice area for us to play and for folks to drop in, sit a while, and hear our songs.

Some of us will want to grab coffee and tea at Whole Foods (up a few stores) just before we come together at Quail Ridge Books. 

For the performance part of this meeting we should plan to take turns at the microphone, and the rest of us will try to hold it down so everyone can enjoy the music. We’ll have some time to do our regular things — show some flutes, hear some tall tales from Florida (Ed and Jon, are you reading?), and brag on our latest flutes. But we do want part of this meeting to focus on playing.

How does that sound? Let’s make a joyful noise! (Is that possible on our minor pentatonic flutes? We’ll see…)

Quail Ridge Books and Music is at Ridgewood Shopping Center on Wade Avenue next to Meredith College in Raleigh.
